McKinnon, Hugh

Hugh McKinnon, a detective hired in 1876 by rival stage owner Patrick Flanagan, wanted to rid the community of the Donnellys. McKinnon terrorized William Atkinson, a friend of the Donnelly family. In the end though, his efforts did little to scare off the Donnellys and in 1877 McKinnon left for Belleville.
