About this source

Translated document

I have a favour to ask you. The favour I am asking you is that you free my mother that I do not know. She has been locked up for almost 15 years she must deserve her freedom. I beg you in the name of the new-born divine child her freedom, I’m in charge of doing work for a farmer and I do not know how to do anything, when there is no one to show us it is very difficult to do work. My father is going to take care of his wife just like when they married. Dear minister I will anxiously wait for my mother’s freedom to begin the year 1935. I remain for life a little orphan.

Pauline Gagnon

My mother is Marie Anne Houde wife of Télesphore Gagnon.
